Epping Forest District Council title

Epping Forest District Council logoA person is a victim of hate crime if he or she is experiencing verbal abuse, harassment, assault or intimidation as a result of their colour, race, religion or sexuality.

If you are experiencing or witnessing incidents of hate crime, you can contact Epping Forest District Council. We have a "Code of Guidance" to ensure that these incidents are properly recorded and monitored. If you wish, an officer will be asked to investigate the matter and agree with you a course of action to resolve it.

Each case is dealt with in strict confidence and, with your permission, will be forwarded to the Epping Forest Confidential Hate Incidents Panel.
